Texas Wesleyan announces new shared advising system
Texas Wesleyan University is strengthening its commitment to making sure students are on track to graduate on time through its Smaller. Smarter. student experience.
Beginning Monday, Feb. 10, the university will officially launch its new shared advising model. A new centralized office in West Library, made up of five academic advisors, will focus on keeping students on the path to graduation by guiding them through class selection and requirements.
Faculty members will continue to play a critical role in advising, focusing on professional guidance, and ensuring success both inside and outside of the classroom.
If you have any questions, please contact Alyssha Munt, director of advising, at amunt@txwes.edu or Michael Brown, senior director of academic advising and student success, at mibrown@txwes.edu.
