Casey Miller is an Instructional Designer with over a decade of experience in Educational Technology, Professional Learning, Curriculum Development and Continuous Improvement. She has served 18 years in public education, starting first with her belief in removing barriers to education through language acquisition programs in Romania and Mexico. She further advocated for equity by leveraging technology through her experience in rural, suburban and urban school districts across the state of Texas. Next, as an advisor to the State Board of Education and Texas Education Agency, and as an ambassador for geo-inquiry with the National Geographic Society. Ultimately, she found a passion for adult learning.
If you catch her outside work, she's an adventurous traveler, avid reader, amateur photographer and artist. Hiking through the redwood forest, kayaking in the Finger Lakes or cruising down the Danube on my way to Vienna, she enjoys experiencing the beauty of the world around her.
