Jessie McDowell is originally from East Texas and joined the US Air Force after high school. She earned a Bachelor's in Communication, a Master's in Executive Leadership, with a Ph.D. in Instructional Design and Technology in progress. She has prior experience as a high school business and animation teacher. Her passions include connecting with students and giving them room to use their creativity.

Jessie also has years of experience as an instructor cadre in the U.S. Air Force, teaching young Airmen how to do their new jobs. That instruction occurred both on the ground and frequently while airborne! She has 7 years of education experience.
