Tim moved to Texas from the northwest for college at Baylor University and has stuck around since, with a diverse background in public education as a teacher, campus administrator and trainer. From Pre-K3 to high school, from social studies to theater to debate, he has done a little bit of everything. He holds a Master of Science in Training and Development from Texas A&M-Commerce and has applied his skills in both the education and business worlds, recently serving as the Director of Training and Growth at a real estate brokerage. Tim is passionate about helping others reach their potential and looks forward to bringing this mindset to Texas Wesleyan University.
Tim and his wife are proud to raise their two sons in the southern metroplex, having lived in the area since graduating college. His wife, Betsy, is an educator as well, and enjoys her move from the high school level to the curious minds of fifth grade. Tim's oldest son, Luke, is an electrical engineering major at the University of Texas-Austin, and recently returned from a study abroad opportunity in Denmark. Their youngest son, Sam, is a high school sophomore, is active in band and enjoys video production. In his free time, Tim enjoys spending time with his family, whether it is cooking, hiking, the Texas Rangers, playing games, watching movies or attending high school band competitions.
