This workshop highlights how to incorporate Blackboard’s achievement, retention center and rubrics features to increase communication with students, engage students with course content and keep them on track for success.

Through new achievements feature faculty are able to reward student accomplishments with badges and/or certificates. Student accountability is an integral component of student engagement.

With Blackboard you can attach grading rubrics to your assessments to help students focus their efforts, produce work of higher quality and also minimize anxiety. Blackboard’s retention center enable you to monitor and quickly identify students that are struggling in your class.
