Open Educational Resources (OER) are low or no-cost instructional materials that faculty can adopt in lieu of or in addition to traditional textbooks with benefits for students and instructors.

At the end of this presentation, you will be able to:

• Define Open Educational Resources
• Explain the benefits of adopting OER
• Know where to find OER
• Discuss OER initiatives on campus 

This presentation will be offered via Teams twice this April: on the 28th from 2 p.m. - 3 p.m. and on the 29th from 12:15 p.m. - 1:15 p.m. It will be offered again in Fall 2021, with follow-up presentations on OER Adoption, and OER Adaption & Open Pedagogy.
