CETL's Tolliver presents at NMC Conference in Washington, D.C.

CETL's Instructional Technologist Adeline "Addy" Meira Tolliver, Ed.D. presented at the the New Media Consortium (NMC) Summer Conference in Washington, D.C. from June 9-11.

The presentation, Badges and Faculty Development Year Two in Review, discussed the development and status CETL's badge program for faculty development that has received national and international recognition for the past two years.

This is the fourth time that Dr. Tolliver has attended the NMC Conference and it is the third time that she has presented. The NMC, according to its website, is described as "a community of hundreds of leading universities, colleges, museums and research centers. The NMC stimulates and furthers the exploration and use of new media and technologies for learning and creative expression."

The NMC is best known for its Horizon Reports which are a collaboration between the NMC and Educause Learning Initiative (ELI) to identify and describe emerging technologies that are likely to have an impact on teaching, learning and creative inquiry in education.
