Organizations needed for Suicide Awareness Event

On April 14, the Texas Wesleyan University Student Veterans Organization/SALUTE chapter/AAUW/FGC will be hosting a suicide awareness event to spread the word about suicide awareness and prevention to everyone who calls Texas Wesleyan University home. 

They are looking for all sororities, fraternities and student organizations to step up and show their representation in helping prevent suicide on the campus of Texas Wesleyan University by bringing awareness and preventive education to those that we care about and attend classes with every week. Please register your organization for the event and show the students and veterans on campus that your organization cares about them and our Ramily.  

To register your organization please email Jonathan Perkins at japerkins@txwes.edu. The last day to register is March 31.

Event details:

When: Noon–1:30 p.m.

Where: Kay Granger Mall (in between the library and Martin Center)

This event is planned as part of the Diversity and Inclusion Strategic Plan.
