Music students from Texas Wesleyan University in Fort Worth, Texas visit Brazil Jan. 2-13, 2013.

Now through Jan. 13, 21 students, two adjunct faculty members and two faculty instructors from the music department are traveling through São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. They will spend four nights in São Paulo and five nights in Rio.

With jet lag behind them, their senses are ignited by local sounds, sights and flavors. Students enjoy daily faculty-led walking tours in each city, noting the presence of music in various locations and settings.

Follow their blog and itinerary as they tour São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, listening to music, sampling food, visiting museums and speaking a little Portuguese.
