Ben’s Triple B featured on Good Morning Texas
WFAA’s Good Morning Texas stopped by Ben’s Triple B on Tuesday, Sept. 24 to check out the new Polytechnic Heights restaurant destination.
“We’re growing every day. The neighborhood is starting to embrace us and [Texas Wesleyan] University has always been a great neighbor,” said Ben Merritt, chef and owner of Ben’s Triple B, Fixture – Kitchen and Social Lounge on Magnolia, and Fort Worth Magazine’s 2016 Top Chef, and 2017 Top Chef Master.
Ben also discussed his win on Food Network’s competition show “Chopped.”
“It was stressful. You’re competing against people, but you don’t know how well they cook. When the clock goes, it’s live. It’s crunch time, and you have to move as fast as you can,” Merritt said.

Ben’s Triple B is open from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Monday – Thursday and 10 a.m. to 1 a.m. Friday – Sunday, at 3020 E. Rosedale, at the corner of Rosedale and Wesleyan Streets.
