The new Nick and Lou Martin University Center is a part of the 2020 Vision

Check out the virtual video tour of the new Nick and Lou Martin University Center from Bennett Benner Partners. The University plans to break ground in the Spring of 2018.

The 44,000-square-foot Martin University Center is the most significant capital improvement project at Texas Wesleyan in 100 years. Located in the heart of campus, it will include a new student and family welcome center, outdoor amphitheater, food court, ballroom, bookstore, convenience store, student organization and student life offices, lounge rooms, and more.

Campaign update

The Nick and Lou Martin University Center Campaign has received $16 million in gifts and pledges as Texas Wesleyan closes in on the goal of $19 million needed for the new building.

Paul and Judy Andrews have made a leadership commitment to name the ballroom foyer in response to the J.E. and L.E. Mabee Foundation $1 million challenge grant.

Other recent major commitments to the Martin Center include those from:

  • Ryan Foundation
  • Mark ’04 and Xingjuan Ma
  • Alice ’96 and Victor Puente
