Update, 5 p.m.: All classes for Saturday, Feb. 28, are canceled. All afternoon Homecoming games will be played as scheduled.

Update, 12:28 p.m.: The men's and women's Homecoming games will be played as scheduled on Saturday, Feb. 28. Tipoff for the women's game is at 3 p.m.

Update, 11:25 a.m.: The Facilities Department is currently spreading ice melt along the main sidewalks and entryways. Even with this material in place, the path to your vehicle may still be slippery. Again, we urge you to use caution.

The Texas Wesleyan campus is closed, effective immediately, for the remainder of Friday, Feb. 27, because of the deteriorating winter weather conditions. 

We encourage you to please use caution, stay safe and assess the conditions of the roads prior to beginning your commute home.

No decision has made regarding the status of Saturday's Homecoming events. Details will be available as soon as the safety of the roads has been evaluated.
