Feb. 22 is the Deadline for University College Day Proposals
Submissions can be made online and will be accepted until 11:59 p.m. Friday, Feb. 22.
Students and faculty do not have to have their project completed by Feb. 22 — they only need to have an idea developed and a 200-word summary that explains their objectives.
What is University College Day?
On April 10, University College Day will unite our campus and support active learners as they think critically to engage one another in reaching for the stars.
For more than 20 years, University College Day has offered a forum for students, staff and faculty members at Texas Wesleyan to share their scholarly and creative endeavors. This special day of presentations engenders a shared sense of belonging within the Wesleyan community. This year’s theme is “Follow your Path. Reach for the Stars.”
Professors should encourage students to be part of this special day of campus-wide scholarly activity. Presentations can consist of student, student/faculty, and faculty presenters sharing academic interests, expertise, and explorations with an engaged audience. As announced by the provost, undergraduate classes will not be held on April 10 so students and faculty can attend UCD events.
