The Blue + Gold = Green Committee would like to invite all staff and faculty to participate in student-led events on campus that promote taking care of our campus environment. Students have come to the committee soliciting support for their green efforts.

The following events are great ways to get involved.

Reverse Litter Campaign 

This group meets every Tuesday at 12:15 in front of the West Library. Participants clean up litter on certain sections of campus each week. 

Campus Cleanup

The year’s first Campus Cleanup will take place on Saturday, Sept. 26, from 8-11:30 am. Participants will gather to clean up the surrounding areas (Vickery & Collard streets). To participate, please contact Student Life.

Student Life will provide gloves and trash bags. Please wear pants and closed toe shoes.

The committee will keep you updated throughout the year with ways to stay involved.
