Have you published a book? Are you part of the Texas Wesleyan community?
The West Library will have its second annual Wesleyan Local Author Day, featuring works of fiction, poetry or memoir by authors who have a connection to Texas Wesleyan. Faculty, staff and students are invited to participate if they have published with a small, independent press or have self-published. There will also be time for authors to sell their books.
Join us on Oct. 12 between 12:15pm and 1:15pm.
Last year was the inaugural year for the Texas Wesleyan Local Author Day. The focus this year will be authors who did not participate last year.
“Our goal is to expand our community of local authors and readers, building on the group we began last year,” says Risa Brown, reference librarian coordinating the book fair.
Contact Risa at extension 4802 or rwbrown@txwes.edu if you would like to participate.
