“Live Chat with a Librarian” is getting an upgrade. Having access to reference service 24/7 is already available on the West Library’s homepage from its spot in the right-hand corner of the page. This service connects you to librarians all over the world to take on your information dilemmas.
Beginning Friday, May 15, the new and improved version is ready for you to use. Look for the difference on the West Library page — the wording has changed to “Ask a Librarian.” The main difference you’ll see is after you click on the link. You’ll still find the chat form to get you started, and now you’ll see other ways to connect with the local reference staff. An exciting new feature is the Frequently Asked Questions section. You can browse or search it and may find exactly what you’re looking for. But if you still need help, submit the form and you’ll soon be chatting with a professional librarian.
Check out the new and improved Live Chat, now under the “Ask a Librarian” link!
