Texas Wesleyan music students collected more than 100 new toys and 115 pounds of food in their annual canned goods and toy drive, which began in early November and ran through the holidays. The toys were donated to the Lena Pope Home foster care program, and food was donated to the Tarrant Area Food Bank.
“It is a great way for our students to connect with the community and to help out those individuals who might be less fortunate than they are,” said Jerome Bierschenk, director of choral activities.
