Scott Geer has been selected to be the customer relationship management (CRM) manager.
In this new role, which he began Nov. 3, Geer will develop communications targeted at prospective students that encourage them to take the next step in the enrollment process. He will also help track interactions between the University and prospective students to create tailored messages for future students.
As a member of the Marketing and Communications team, Geer will work closely with the Office of Admissions, IT and other offices that work with prospective students.
As creative services manager, Geer increased project efficiency and customer satisfaction by implementing a project management system (ProWorkflow). With the new structure, the office helped complete more than 500 projects in less than two years.
“Scott’s experience working with new students and our university brand is invaluable as we continue to develop focused, smarter communications to prospective students,” Darren White, director of marketing and communications, said.
Including more than two years as creative services manager, Geer has spent more than 10 years working in higher education for universities that include UNT and TCU.
“Scott’s creative skills and data-driven background made him stand out among other candidates,” White said. “We are excited for him to bring these skills to this new position.”
