TXWES to close at 4 p.m. today, April 17, due to threat for severe weather

2:50 p.m.: Texas Wesleyan University will close at 4 p.m. today, Wednesday, April 17, to ensure the safety of the campus community during the incoming threat for severe weather.

All evening classes and events are canceled.

Update at 3:15 p.m.: Student Affairs has announced that Dora’s Café will remain open per its typical operating hours. From Human Resources: All hourly employees may record an additional hour as break time for this early closure.

Update at 3:55 p.m.: The scheduled UCD 'Sip on Success' event is among the events canceled this evening. The event is pending rescheduling.
