On Aug. 23, faculty, staff, students and board members will come together for Opening Convocation for the 126^th Academic Year at 12:15 p.m. in Nicholas Martin Hall.

President Frederick G. Slabach will address the campus community during this Wesleyan tradition, officially kicking off the academic year.

During the ceremony, you’ll hear the latest news about the state of the University, review our mission and sing Texas Wesleyan’s Alma Mater with friends, students and colleagues.

Faculty should arrive in the Baker Building no later than 11:30 a.m. for lineup. Please come dressed in academic regalia, with the exception of tams.
