This fall, West Library will be home to four new classrooms for Texas Wesleyan faculty and students. The new rooms are located on the second floor of the library, and will be used as classrooms during morning peak hours. In the afternoon, the rooms will be available for students and group study.
“The demand for more classroom space is a good problem to have,” Elizabeth Howard, director of the West Library said. “We’re happy the library has space that can be utilized for classrooms and double as technology-enabled group study space. We are here to serve our students and always want them to feel at home in the library.”
One of the new classrooms will be in the space previously used for academic advising. Academic advising is relocating to the first floor of the library.
The new classrooms will be ready for use during the Fall 2016 semester.
