On Aug. 30, faculty, staff, students and board members will come together for Opening Convocation for the 132nd academic year at 12:30 p.m. in Nicholas Martin Hall.

University President Frederick G. Slabach will address the campus community during this Texas Wesleyan tradition, officially kicking off the academic year.

During the ceremony, you'll hear the latest news about the University from President Slabach.

Faculty should arrive in the Baker Building no later than 12:15 p.m. for lineup. Please come dressed in academic regalia, with the exception of tams.
