Greetings Faculty and Staff,

With winter break quickly approaching, I wanted to wish each of you a happy and safe holiday season.  
 
Many of you will be traveling to visit with family and friends; my hope is that you reach your destinations with ease and that you will cherish the quality time spent with loved ones. For those of you spending the holidays at home, I hope you enjoy a peaceful and happy holiday with family and friends. My family and I plan to take in all the sights as we get to know our new Fort Worth community.   
 
I also want to acknowledge that for some colleagues this may not be the most joyous time of year. However, my hope is that it can be a time of reflection and relaxation in order for you to return feeling rested, renewed and ready for the spring semester.  
 
Most of all, let’s celebrate each other and all the worthy accomplishments we have experienced during this semester. I am looking forward to the new year and all the exciting times to come for our TXWES community.  
 
Thank you for all that you do on behalf of the university, our students, alumni, donors, the Fort Worth community and each other.
