In response to the growing needs of our student population, Texas Wesleyan University has implemented modifications to our parking system for all students, faculty and staff, effective Aug. 1. With our student-centered approach and our continuous efforts to "Think Smarter," the modifications below will help meet our students' needs while optimizing our parking resources.

  • Faculty and staff parking lots will transition from assigned spots to a first-come, first-serve basis.
  • Faculty and staff designated parking lots will include: A, C, D, F, J, M, R, S, V.
  • Student parking lots will include: L, N, Q, E, I, K, P, U, resulting in 100 more parking spots available to our students.
  • Residential-specific parking permits will be issued exclusively for parking in designated residential lots G, H, O, T. These permits will not grant access to student parking lots.

With these modifications, there will be no additional costs associated with parking permits. However, we will increase parking enforcement and will continue to require vehicle registration while mandating a prominent display of parking permits.

As we continue to improve our service to our growing student population, thank you in advance for your understanding and cooperation as we work to improve our overall parking experience for our RAMily.
