GrilleWorks is moving to the west side of campus
In March, facilities will begin work to transform the north side of the Baker Building into a new space for GrilleWorks. GrilleWorks, a favorite campus dining area for burgers, fries, sandwiches, burritos and more, is currently located in the Brown-Lupton campus center.
“When we served students in the Baker Building in the past [formerly the West Express Eatery], it was an extremely popular hangout,” Brian Franks, executive director of facilities development and operations, said.
“The proximity to the business school, school of education and Martin Hall, mixed with the casual dining atmosphere, made it a campus favorite,” Franks said. “We are really excited to serve students on the west side of campus again.”
In order to offer the same food options and space, a full grill and hood will be added to the current Baker Building kitchen and the seating area will be expanded.
The current GrilleWorks space will become the new Athletic Weight Room.
GrilleWorks is expected to move to its new home at the end of May.
