Feb. 1 started the soaring Ram Spirit of Homecoming activities. At the beginning of the week, each department decorated their door to show school spirit and support Texas Wesleyan.

An ongoing tradition during homecoming is the Faculty/Staff vs. Students basketball game. Faculty and Staff won the game with some help from the students. Student Engagement and Residence Life hosted a Block Party at Stella Russell Hall on Friday, Feb 5. From mocktails and music to walking tacos and Frito Pies, the students couldn't have asked for a better evening.

On Saturday, Feb. 6, the much-anticipated Homecoming game was the most exciting part of the week. The ninth-ranked Texas Wesleyan's men's basketball team crushed Southwestern Christian University 97-78. Unfortunately, the women's basketball team lost 65-52 to Southwestern earlier that evening. The Homecoming 2016 King and Queen, Hafidh "Fez" Alghussein and Tori Johnson, were crowned between games.
