Where:

January is Stalking Awareness Month. Approximately one in three women and one in six men have been stalked at some point in their lives. Stalking is defined as a pattern of behavior directed at a specific person that causes fear. Many stalking victims experience being followed, approached, monitored and/or threatened — including through various forms of technology. Come join the conversation with Sean Woods, Primary Prevention Manager at the Dallas Area Rape Crisis Center, on Thursday, Jan. 19 from 12:30-1:30 p.m. in the Martin Center, Room 200 (Andrews Ballroom A). Learn how to identify stalking, intervene when necessary and how to support victims and survivors.
