Jesse Albracht promoted to assistant director and accepts local board position
Jesse (Pyle) Albracht has been promoted to assistant director for career services & experiential learning at the beginning of the spring 2022 semester.
Jesse joined Texas Wesleyan University as the coordinator for internships and experiential learning in 2019. Since then, Jesse has supported the Office of Career Services working with students and alumni in appointments related to their short- and long-term career goals, collaborated with faculty and staff in the implementation of events and presentations that allow participants to strengthen their professional development skills and joined organizations in the DFW metroplex that have allowed her to meet and learn more about employers and their potential job and internship opportunities available to our students.
She has also accepted the board position at the Metroplex Area Consortium of Career Counselors (MAC3) in January as 2022 President-Elect.
MAC3 is a consortium of community colleges and universities that have joined forces to enhance career services and job opportunities for students and alumni of their prospective institutions. Jesse has been a member of MAC3 since September 2019 and served as the secretary of MAC3 in 2021. Her role will include the coordinating of a career fair for schools across the DFW metroplex in April 2022 where students and alumni will be able to network and learn more about career opportunities in Dallas and Fort Worth. Outside of events, MAC3 meets with employers each month to learn more about their company and programs that are available for students interested in exploring their career options. Through collaboration and professional development, Jesse looks forward to continuing her involvement in MAC3 and strengthening her skills as a career services professional in order to provide the best opportunities possible for Texas Wesleyan students and alumni.
