Daniel Rodriguez is a first-generation college student with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with a minor in Mathematics from Texas Woman’s University and a Master’s in Education in Higher Education from the University of North Texas. Daniel has served in various roles where he has been able to help students get prepared to go to college. He is now the Coordinator for Upward Bound Math and Science at Texas Wesleyan University. Coming from a low-income Hispanic household in Southeast Dallas, Daniel knows the importance of college access and of being able to guide and motivate students to pursue a higher education. In his spare time Daniel likes to spend time with his dogs Dak and Beasley, play video games and watch sport games.
