Lilly Plascencia is a first-generation student with a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies: 4-8 Mathematics with teaching certification from The University of North Texas at Dallas and a Master’s in Higher Education from Southern Methodist University. Lilly previously worked as a Coordinator Assistant for the Upward Bound Program at Southern Methodist University providing academic, college, and career advising to students and helping students prepare for college. She is now the Upward Bound Coordinator at Texas Wesleyan University. As a first-gen college graduate, Lilly is passionate about helping other first-gen and underrepresented students have the same higher education opportunities! Fun Facts about Lilly is that she enjoys being at the gym, loves watching new Netflix shows, listening to music, and trying out different foods.
