Vocal Music Student Places Fourth in the DFW NATS Competition

05.04.2022 | By:

Being judged is not an easy task, nor is it a choice one might like to make, but senior Trinity Stewart thrives on it. The National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS) is the largest association of teachers of singing in the world with over 7,000 members. The Dallas-Fort Worth Chapter holds its annual NATS competition in the spring. Competing against an estimated 30 other students in their category, Trinity Stewart placed 4th in the 2021-2022 Upper College Treble Division.

Trinity will be walking the stage this May, and the music department could not be prouder. In the Wesleyan Music Department, Trinity has been featured in the Women’s Chorus, Chamber Choir and the opera scenes program as well as Wesleyan Chorale. Aiming to be well-rounded, Trinity has made the Dean’s List for exceptional grades multiple times and even presented a lecture on the development of heavy metal during the 2021 University College Day.

Congratulations Trinity on all your accomplishments and hard work!
