Join the Department of Music at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 21 for a celebration of our University and its alumni with the Texas Wesleyan Wind Ensemble. Professor Christine Beason will be joined by an ensemble comprised of current and former Wesleyan music students, as well as a few special appearances by our faculty.

The ensemble, joined by a choir comprised of alumni and students, will be performing a commissioned version of “Hail to Thee Dear Texas Wesleyan” composed by renowned composer Julie Giroux.

Also, on the program are works by Ticheli, Saucedo, and Sheldon, along with a piano concerto entitled “Cordoba” also written by Giroux. This work will feature two of our piano faculty, Keith Critcher and José Cubela.

A reception will follow where you can meet and greet with fellow and future alumni.
