Dr. Kendra Irons, assistant professor of religion and philosophy, had her "Faith Under Scrutiny" article published in the June 11 issue of Christian Century, a major publication for progressive Christians in the U.S. 

The article describes Irons' experience teaching religion to a class of Saudi Arabian students during the fall 2013 semester.

Irons also had a related story published in the Christian Century blog in September, which described her first classes with the Saudi students and set the stage for the print feature.
