"Economics is my passion. Since economics develops one’s ability to use theory, current trends and practices and analytical skills towards problem-solving and decision making. If you study economics, you start to make decisions based on objective and quantifiable reasoning. Economics develops your ability to effectively examine, analyze and interpret data."
Dr. Ogruk-Maz teaches Macroeconomics, Microeconomics, International Finance and MBA-level Managerial Economics courses. Her research involves using statistical analysis to understand and gain insights into empirical issues in economics, including exchange rate movements, returns on carry trade and asset prices.
