Please join the Sponsored Programs and External Relations department in bidding a fond farewell and a wish for continued success to Deborah Roark, Ed.D., associate vice president of sponsored programs and external relations, as she begins her new journey at the University of Dallas.

Roark has played an essential role in the success of Texas Wesleyan University. Working tirelessly and with personal excellence on behalf of our students and the university, her 10 plus years of dedicated service are commendable and serve as an example to others of what great leadership is.

A few of Roark's contributions include acquisition of the Title III grant, the Rosedale Renaissance project, mentoring the Hatton W. Sumners Scholars, obtaining an ATM for the campus, serving on many boards and committees such as Congressman Marc Veasey's Education Task Force and many, many more.

Come by Lou's Place on Thursday, Jan. 8 from 2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. to congratulate Dr. Roark. Cake and punch will be served.
