Attendance is crucial to student success - make sure you know the policy

10.02.2015 | By:

Attendance is critical to learning and success in college. Students who do not attend class are required by federal regulation to be reported as non-attending.

Per the University attendance policy, you may be dropped from classes, if you are not attending.

If you are not currently going to class, see your instructor as soon as possible to discuss your situation or risk being dropped from class after midterm grades are reported.

The University’s attendance policy is found on page 112 of the undergraduate catalog and on page 77-78 of the graduate catalog. Your instructors may set more specific attendance policies in their syllabus.
