About Professor Ranck

Alec is recognized as one of the most experienced educators in the SCUBA industry due to his extensive involvement in most areas of the industry. Holding the highest certification of Instructor Trainer in both recreational and technical diving has kept him in demand internationally as well as domestically throughout his thirty-two years of teaching. He has owned a retail dive store, been a manufacturers representative, worked in research and development and authored educational programs. Alec also has an associate’s degree in electronics and has been an Adjunct at Texas Wesleyan for six years.
