School of Education graduate selected for Lockheed Martin chair
Cristina Armenta, a graduate of the Texas Wesleyan School of Education, was chosen as the Lockheed Martin Chair for Teaching Excellence in Elementary Science for Fort Worth ISD.
Cristina will receive $5,000 from Lockheed Martin and is considered a mentor for other elementary science teachers in FWISD. She had to fill out an application with a written essay portion and then demonstrate a lesson in front of a committee.
We are very proud of this graduate and her efforts.
