Online MBA Student Checklist
Congratulations on being accepted to the program! There are still a few things you need to do before you can start classes. Read through our checklist and make sure you’ve got everything covered.

Turn in your documents |
If you were provisionally accepted, you will need to turn in your final transcripts from another school as soon as possible.

Fill out your FAFSA |
Don’t wait to finish your FAFSA and have the results sent to Texas Wesleyan – our school code is 003645. The sooner you complete your FAFSA the better chance you have of getting financial aid.
| Start My FAFSA |
Visit the financial aid website for more information on the FAFSA.
Talk to your advisor |
After you let us know you're coming to Texas Wesleyan, your advisor will email you and set up a time to talk with you and answer all your questions.
Your advisor will talk to you about the registration process, answer any questions you have about preparing for class, register you for your first two sessions in the program and let you know what academic support will be available to you.

Complete your orientation course in Blackboard |
As an online student, orientation is online too. You'll complete orientation using a system called Blackboard. Blackboard is where you'll go to watch video lectures, get your homework and turn in assignments. Log in using the Texas Wesleyan username and password that we emailed you after you were admitted.
During the orientation videos, you'll go through a program overview, learn how to register for classes, go over important deadlines and so much more. In Blackboard, orientation is set up like your other classes. You'll watch videos and answer a few questions so we know you're understanding all the information. Once you're done, you're ready to register for classes.
You don't have to complete orientation before the start of the semester, but you won't be able to register for more than 6 credit hours until you complete the course in Blackboard.
