Thursday, Oct. 19

12:30 p.m. - Kay Granger Mall, Texas Wesleyan Campus

Get pumped up for the big game on Saturday, and celebrate all fall sports! Come out and cheer on our athletes and enjoy performances from our cheer and dance teams. Free admission.

7:30 p.m. - Martin Hall, Texas Wesleyan Campus

A Nocturne is a short piece of Romantic dreamy character suggestive of night that allows for a more intimate connection between the artist and the audience. Frederic Chopin has received the credit for perfecting the genre of the Nocturne.

This concert will present several other composers besides Chopin who also wrote beautiful Nocturnes but are seldom performed. Eight piano alumni have been invited to join current piano students and faculty in this recital to perform several of these more underrepresented composers of Nocturnes. A slide show will be featured during the concert. Free admission.

Friday, Oct. 20

11:30 a.m. - Lou's Place, Texas Wesleyan Campus

The Texas Wesleyan Ram Club invites you to join them for a luncheon before the homecoming football game on Saturday.

9 a.m. – West Library, Texas Wesleyan Campus

The Texas Wesleyan Donor Brick Walkway is located in the heart of campus just outside the Eunice and James West Library. Since 1990, the walkway has been a much-loved tradition and an unique way to leave a legacy as well as honor loved ones, family members and friends by personal inscriptions that line the walkway.

You’ll see the newest additions to the Donor Brick Walkway and learn more about how alumni and friends can leave their mark through this TXWES tradition. We also honor the following faculty and staff who retired in the past year.

Join us at the Brick Dedication and share your congratulations and best wishes to our fantastic retired faculty and staff!

10:30 a.m. - Martin Hall, Texas Wesleyan campus

All alumni and friends are invited to the meaningful service where we take time to recognize the members of the Texas Wesleyan community that we've lost over the last year. The Wesleyan singers and alumni chorus will perform.
