The Texas Wesleyan Alumni Association is pleased to announce Les Ledingham '02 as the recipient of the 2023 O.D. Bounds Award. The O.D. Bounds Award is presented to an alumna or alumnus involved in athletics who exemplifies the work, character and contributions made by the late O.D. Bounds.
Les Ledingham IV was born and raised in Fort Worth, TX. He graduated from Boswell High School in 1997 and then attended Texas Wesleyan University on a golf scholarship. He graduated in 2002 with a bachelor’s degree in mass communications TV and radio. After graduation, Les entered the workforce in sales and is currently in the Water Transfer business with Nexgen Water Transfer Services. Les still loves golf and is a member of Ridglea Country Club and serves on the board for the Texas Wesleyan O.D. Bounds Golf Scholarship Endowment Program.
It’s his passion to continue the golf legacy of Texas Wesleyan which allows young players the ability to earn their degrees while still enjoying the sport. Les also serves on the Board of the local Men’s Health Awareness program called Big Balls in Cowtown, which is a golf tournament that serves to help local families dealing with prostate and testicular cancer.
Les married his wife Kindyle in 2005 and they have one son, George Leslie Ledingham V.
