Debbie Brown ’78 was cast in Mame in Concert at Lyric Stage in Irving, running January 26-29, and Little Red Riding Hood at Casa Manana, which will run March 17-April 2.

Mike Skipper ’78 is producing Pure Country the Musical, which will premiere at Lyric Stage in Irving in June. The musical was written by Rex McGee, the screenwriter of the movie Pure Country starring George Straight, and features several of the country singer’s hits.

Dr. Juan Quintana ’96 delivered the Texas Wesleyan Fall Commencement address at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth.


Ben Phillips ’09 is directing and performing in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee at the Firehouse Theatre in Farmers Branch. The show runs January 5 – 22.

Armando Villareal ’11 and Pau Careaga were married in Los Mochis, Mexico on January 7.

Kristi Taylor ’13 recorded the theme song for The Rejects Origins, a new original series on Amazon Prime, and also released a cover of Santa Baby. She has recently been cast in various TV series and films. Check out her IMDb page to see what she’s been up to.

Shelby Palvadore ’14 and husband welcomed daughter Presley Madison on December 1.

Rayneta Dotson ’14, cheerleading coach at Polytechnic High School, took her cheer team to New York City to perform in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.

Cameron Stapleton ’16 welcomed daughter Leighton Rey on November 18.
