09.18.2019 | By:

It’s almost here! Be sure to make plans to attend the Nick and Lou Martin University Center Dedication Ceremony at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 24, and help us celebrate the new heart of TXWES.

Here’s what you need to know:

Who’s invited?

The whole TXWES community including students, faculty, staff, alumni and University friends are invited to share in the excitement of this event.

Why should you attend?

The Martin Center is the new heart of TXWES and we want you to join us in celebrating this milestone for the University. Plus, after the ceremony, there will be all sorts of fun and entertainment including:

  • Building tours led by our Admissions team
  • Commemorative giveaways*
  • Live broadcast from 95.9 The Ranch
  • Texas-themed food throughout the University Center
  • Mechanical bull rides
  • Photo booth fun!

Parking information:

Faculty & staff: Parking lots B, C, D and part of lot E will be closed Tuesday, Sept. 24, for VIP guests and alumni. If you have a reserved spot in lots C or D, you will need to use student parking lots E, N, P and U that day.

Students: Faculty and staff will be using student parking lots on this day, so expect parking delays or maybe even walk to class if you live on campus.

Alumni & guests: Parking is available in lots D and E. Golf carts will be shuttling guests to and from the event.

You don’t want to miss this historic event. Someday you could be telling your friends and family that you took part in this epic celebration!

*Dedication giveaways available while supplies last.
