See "Raid of the Rainbow Lounge" with journalist Todd Camp

Join Student Diversity & Inclusion Programs and the TXWES Gay-Straight Alliance on Oct. 5 at 6 p.m. in Lou's Place for a docu-screening of "Raid of the Rainbow Lounge". This documentary covers the Fort Worth Police Department raid of a local gay bar in 2009, on the 40th anniversary of the Stonewall Riots in New York City.

After the screening, we will hear from Todd Camp, a former journalist from the Star Telegram who was there the night of the raid and is an active voice in the documentary. Camp also leads the Fort Worth LGBTQ+ history project, Yesterqueer, and will be providing information on how Fort Worth has evolved past this incident.
