University prepares for 125th anniversary year, logo unveiled
Texas Wesleyan is getting ready to kick off a yearlong celebration of its 125-year history during the 2015-16 academic year.
Planning is well underway to incorporate anniversary themes to traditional University events. The President's Picnic, the annual welcome back barbecue for students, faculty and staff, will feature a throwback theme and kickoff the celebration (more information on the President's Picnic and Welcome Week to follow).
"All departments can, and are encouraged to, take part in the anniversary year by incorporating 125-year themes to their new and established events," John Veilleux, vice-president for marketing and communications, said.
"Our office is working with faculty and staff to integrate the 125-year logo to print and digital marketing design, and well as consulting with departments on event strategy and promotion."
125-year logo
New assets include the 125-year logo additions (main application shown above) and 2 new logos which were specifically created for Texas Wesleyan's 125-year anniversary celebration events (shown below). These assets have been created and streamlined to be included with our current "Smaller. Smarter." brand.
