On Friday, Sept. 12, the Armstrong Residence Halls will be re-named and dedicated in honor of James C. Armstrong in a special ceremony open to students, alumni, faculty and staff in the Elizabeth Hall lounge.

Thanks to a generous donation from James, son of Elizabeth Means and O.C. Armstrong, and his children, the residence halls have been modernized through electrical upgrades, renovations, new landscaping and more. Refreshments will be served and tours of the residence halls will be given by student resident assistants.

Join the Board of Trustees, President Slabach, members of the Armstrong family, City of Fort Worth officials, staff, faculty and students for this special ribbon-cutting event.

The festivities begin at 11 a.m. in the resident lounge of James C. Armstrong & Elizabeth Means Armstrong Hall.
