Donations will be taken when the Rams host the University of Science & Arts of Oklahoma in Sooner Athletic Conference action on Saturday. Donations of any size are welcomed.

Fans who donate will receive a sneaker cutout with which they can honor a friend or loved one who has battled the disease.

The Lady Rams will tip-off at 3 p.m. in the Sid Richardson Center with the men's game to follow at 5 p.m.

Coaches vs. Cancer is a nationwide collaboration between the American Cancer Society and the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) that empowers basketball coaches, their teams and local communities to make a difference in the fight against cancer. The program seeks to increase cancer awareness and promote healthy living among students, faculty, staff, fans and the community at large.

Since its inception in 1993, the program has raised more than $87 million to support the American Cancer Society's mission.
