Help local seniors with West Library's Meals on Wheels Christmas tree

10.21.2014 | By: Texas Wesleyan University

For the past 10 years West Library has been offering a Meals on Wheels Christmas Tree to help local area seniors enjoy Christmas gifts during the holiday season.

Texas Wesleyan students, faculty and staff are always incredibly giving — in 2013 our campus donated 381 gifts and $245.

Stop by the West Library and pick out a star from our Meals on Wheels Giving Tree. All gifts go directly to seniors in the Meals on Wheels program for Christmas.

Bring your unwrapped gift to the Library circulation desk by Tuesday, Dec. 9.

Types of gifts to choose from include:

  • Night lights
  • Flashlights
  • Magnifying glasses
  • Calendars
  • Mittens
  • Knit Stocking Caps
  • Fleece Throws
  • Disposable Cameras with flash
  • Canes
  • Reaching tools
  • Clocks with large numbers
  • Hand held shower wand
  • Dry cat or dog food
  • Cash donation

Help make our campus's 10th year of giving a success!
