Library contest lets you show off tree decorating skills

11.01.2013 | By:

R‌eady to get in the Christmas spirit? Kick off the holiday season by decorating your very own miniature tree at the West Library's tree decorating contest.

Entries are required to have a theme, and prizes will be awarded to the top three entries. The first 50 partipants may pick up a free, 2-foot tall tree at the West Library circulation desk until Nov. 11. The contest is open to groups or individuals.

All submissions must be turned in at the West Library circulation desk by Nov. 19 and winners will be announced on Dec. 4.

Participants may pick up their trees any time after judging has occurred or may donate their tree for a charity sale benefiting Tarrant County Meals on Wheels.
