Celebrate National Library Week with an art show in West Library. Clay and Fire, Dirt and Danger: The Art of Raku will be installed April 11 and will culminate with an artist recepition on April 25.
Located of the first floor of West Library, we invite you to browse the artwork and participate in judging the ware. Awards will be presented to the top three artists who revceive the most votes from viewers.
The show consists of ceramic Raku ware created by students at TCC Northeast Campus, and is brought to us in a partnership with Northeast Campus Association of Potters and Sculptors.
The organization makes bowls for the North Texas Area Food Bank every year and participate in the Fort Worth city-wide celebrations of Mayfest and the Main Street Arts Festival.
